<The Spicy Family> is a 300-part 2D comic animated film adapted from the popular TV drama <The Spicy Foes> broadcasted on Chongqing TV. The animated film depicts the comic stories of a rural family, i.e., Zhou Fugui, a kind-hearted old man, his son Zhou Ermao and daughter-in-law Shu Fen, that settle in a residential quarter somewhere in urban Chongqing. The ordinary street life of the three-member family serves as a miniature of the life of numerous urban families. It’s a life of joys and sorrows. Through one slapstick after another, the film demonstrates to the audience the unique charms of Chongqing and the new look of the citizens.

The 52-part 2D animated film <Momo> is a work created by CMay in 2007 has now entered the phase of production. The film depicts the stories of an artificial child <Momo> and his father who made him. One day the father dies all of a sudden. Before his death, he asks <Momo> to go to his past good friend, the doctor, and leaves him a paper note which reads, “Wish you would become a human as early as possible.”

<Momo> goes to the doctor, who, however, tells him that to become a human requires sufficient energy. That’s why <Momo> starts on a journey of searching for energy. During the journey, he gets to know a few good friends like Ah Qi and Xiao Yuan. Evil forces try to stop <Momo> from finding the energy but the child defeats them and gets the energy in the end, only to find that the last wish of his father is not like what he has thought.

This film reveals the good feelings of the human kind, the good and brave characters of the hero, and the friendship between the friends.

The 2D fantasy animated series TICO is a work that CMay created in 2007. It’s a film that is mainly intended for children, takes place in modern times and contains the fantasy elements of fairytales.
