Founded in November 2005, CMay Animation Production Co., Ltd. is dedicated to developing proprietary Chinese animation products and building a creative industrial chain for national culture. The company mainly specializes in TV and film animations, cartoons, game software and related derivatives. It now has a contingent of nearly 300 professional producers.

Its affiliated Chongqing CMay Classic Film & TV Animation Co., Ltd. and Animation Training School are mainly specialize in the development of animation and cartoon derivatives and the cultivation of animation talents.

IBy 2007, CMay had produced over 10,000 minutes of animations, including the 3D serial<Gili Gloo>, the 2D serials<The Spicy Family>, <TICO>, <The Moon>, <Baby Vanguards> and <Momo>, and the short flash <Mirage>.

n August 2007, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television officially approved CMay Animation Production Co., Ltd. as a “national animation industrial base".

The CMay animation base ranked among the top five in 2003 and the top ten in 2006 nationwide in terms of animation output.

In 2008, CMay officially became an operator of the Children’s Channel of Chongqing TV.
